Maryland lottery win gives New York couple $50K boost for house hunting

Baltimore, Maryland. After winning the $50,000 top prize on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket, a couple from New York City who were looking for a house in Maryland recently experienced a significant increase in their income.

On a recent trip to Baltimore City, Juan Infante, a lifelong scratch-off player and bartender, purchased the winning Cash Boomticket at Sam’s Lobby Shop. Infante tried the Cash Boomgame after trying his typical crossword scratch-off game without success. He discovered three vault symbols, winning the game’s top reward.

I scanned it since I assumed it was $50. Then I noticed every zero! Infante uttered such words. He was so thrilled that he asked the store owner where he could pick up his $50,000 award, which led to a party.

The unexpected windfall will be used as a down payment for Infante and his wife, who are currently looking for a home in Maryland. He joked that Maryland was doing a wonderful job. The down payment is this!

The Maryland Lottery awarded a $500 bonus to Sam’s Lobby Shop, located at 10 North Calvert Street, for selling the winning ticket.

Infante, who is an avid fan of the Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, suggested that he would spend some of his earnings to go to the Ravens’ next playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This couple is one step closer to relocating to Maryland thanks to a fortunate scratch-off.
