from Seaside Heights to Trenton. The latest anti-President Donald J. Trump demonstrations from Newark to Cape May seem to be a coordinated, well-funded national movement supported by a billion-dollar network.
According to a recent analysis by the nonprofit journalism project the Pearl Project, 685 organizations with a combined yearly budget of almost $3.7 billion were involved in recent nationwide anti-Trump demonstrations.
According to the investigation, 418 groups affiliated with the Democratic Party were claimed to have organized the #NoKings protests on Saturday, June 14. Many of the groups operated as nonpartisan enterprises but maintained nonprofit status. The Pearl Project estimates that these organizations together manage yearly budgets of $2.4 billion.
Under hashtags including #TeslaTakedown, #HandsOff, and #MayDay, 267 other organizations have participated in previous protest movements in addition to the #NoKings activities. These organizations, which include many of the same organizations that took part in the June 14 events, are said to generate $1.3 billion in revenue annually.
