Michigan Election Day Guide: Find Your Polling Place and Voting Info



Detroit, MI – Michigan voters preparing for Election Day can confirm their polling locations through the state’s voter services. Checking your assigned location in advance can make the voting process more efficient on Tuesday.

According to the Michigan Department of State, voters can locate their polling place by entering their information on the Michigan Voter Information Center. Polls across Michigan will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Michigan does not require ID for most voters, though voters without ID will need to sign an affidavit. For those who bring ID, accepted forms include a Michigan driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued photo ID.
