After the stabbing, Brower tried to retrieve Harrington’s parts from the laundry and carry them to a casino, where he hoped someone would “put [Harrington] back together,” according to authorities.

The counsel for Brower said that his client’s emotional response to the murder demonstrated severe mental disease; however, the specific nature of this sickness is still unknown. The daughter of Harrington, Miraca, spoke out horrified about her father’s death to the local news station WLX.

“It’s demented. It’s not even human,” she stated. “He’s not even human. He’s a monster.”
