St. Louis, MO – Missouri residents woke up to dense fog Friday morning, with visibility reduced across major roads, including I-70. The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9 a.m., urging drivers to slow down and use headlights on the morning commute. However, by midday, the fog will lift, revealing clear skies and highs reaching the upper 50s, setting the stage for a pleasant afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, today’s high will peak near 58 degrees, with calm conditions expected once the fog dissipates. Tonight will bring mostly cloudy skies and a low around 41 degrees. The warming trend continues Saturday with highs around 63 degrees under partly sunny skies, though clouds will start to decrease as the day progresses.

Looking ahead to Sunday, St. Louis residents can anticipate a mostly sunny day, with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 68 degrees. Rain chances will return late Sunday night, bringing a 40% likelihood of precipitation that increases to 60% by Monday as another storm front moves in. Monday’s forecast suggests a high of 68 degrees, though showers could make for a wet start to the workweek.

For those planning outdoor activities, the best window appears to be Saturday and early Sunday, before rain chances ramp up. Drivers should remain alert for patchy fog in the mornings over the weekend, as conditions may continue to vary. Rain is likely through Monday night, clearing up by Tuesday when skies turn partly sunny again.
