Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Clearwater Parks & Recreation Department’s Moccasin Lake Nature Park on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At this free fun celebration, meet community partners along with arts & culture, neighborhoods and sustainability city staff members.
Moccasin Lake Nature Park is a 51-acre nature preserve with oak canopy, ponds and creeks, rescued birds of prey and an array of wildlife.
Several clubs and societies that meet at Moccasin Lake will be on hand with plants and animals to see.
The G.E. Sassani Band will perform on the Garden Lodge porch and food will be available from Cal’s Soulfood Express.
Activities for kids during the event will include face painting and scavenger hunts.
No pets are permitted inside the park with the exception of guide or service dogs.
The park offers classes, programs, camps and meeting/reception rentals with both indoor and outdoor meeting space. Clubs & Societies that meet at Moccasin Lake Nature Park:
