Queens, New York.The NYPD reports that during a fight on a northbound M train near the Court Square stop on Friday morning, a 25-year-old woman and her 11-month-old kid were pepper sprayed.
The mother and child were approached by an unidentified individual who started a verbal dispute with them at around 10:50 a.m. The man allegedly pepper sprayed both victims’ faces before escaping the train in an unidentified direction, according to the police.
The lady and her infant were taken to Mount Sinai Queens by emergency medical personnel once they arrived on the scene. Both received treatment for severe face and ocular discomfort.
The patients were classified in stable condition, and no further injuries were reported.
Following a subway pepper spray incident, the suspect ran away.
According to the description, the suspect is a man with a fair complexion. He was last observed sporting a black baseball cap, colorful jeans, and a black hooded sweatshirt.
To identify the person, investigators are looking through security footage and speaking with witnesses. As of Saturday morning, the investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.
