CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA When an automobile struck a townhouse early on New Year’s Day, mayhem broke out in Chester, Virginia. But the driver was not just hurt; he was discovered dead inside the car, having been shot.
Crash Scene and Fatal Discovery
On January 1, 2025, at around one in the morning, the Chesterfield County Police Department arrived on the scene of the collision. The event happened in Chester, a suburban area south of Richmond, in the 14900 block of Broadwater Way.
When police arrived, they found that a car had crashed into a townhouse and that the driver, an adult man, had been shot and was dead inside the vehicle.
Investigation Details and Official Statement
According to Chesterfield County Police spokesperson Matthew Dunn, “I do believe it was an isolated incident.” We are investigating every available lead.
