Nebraska Weather Alert: Snow Continues to Impact Omaha and Lincoln Until 6 PM

Omaha: Due to the dangerous travel conditions caused by snow, an NEA Winter Weather Advisory is still in force for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Additional snow accumulations of up to half an inch are anticipated, according to Omaha’s National Weather Service. Omaha, Lincoln, Fremont, Council Bluffs, and the neighboring communities are among the locations covered by the alert.

It is advisable for drivers to be ready for slick roads, particularly while commuting in the evening. Authorities advise drivers to travel more cautiously and at a slower pace.
