The Housing Connect website, which details all of New York City’s affordable housing lotteries, claims that Brooklyn has an abundance of cheap housing units with outdoor space.
The affordable housing website stated, “NYC Housing Connect is your portal to find and apply for affordable rental and homeownership opportunities across the five boroughs of New York City.”
Renters in these reasonably priced Brooklyn apartments can enjoy their own balcony or an outdoor terrace for a low monthly fee. There are hundreds of flats available; some listings have rates as low as $465, while other structures cater to higher-income groups.
The lottery is open for these places:

- 65 4th Avenue Apartments
