Continuing efforts to promote sustainability, the City of Clearwater launched a new webpage devoted to the city’s sustainability and resiliency challenges, successes and resources: myclearwater.com/sustainability.
The webpage focuses on eight categories including:
- Green Energy & Buildings
- Transportation
- Livability
- Waste Reduction
- Water Conservation
- Local Food
- Green Economy
- Resiliency
Additional topics include a link to Clearwater Greenprint, the city’s sustainability master plan, and sustainability news and accomplishments within Clearwater. Each page contains resources to you find links to lifestyle tips, local organizations and volunteering opportunities.
“Because each of us has a role to play in protecting the environment, Clearwater residents and business owners are encouraged to visit the city’s new ‘Sustainability and Resiliency’ webpage on a regular basis,” said Mayor George Cretekos. “The webpage provides many resources and easy ideas all of us can adopt to live a greener lifestyle.”
