MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA: Massachusetts authorities are searching for a guy from New Hampshire who is suspected of breaking into a nearby golf course. Following a break-in at the Trull Brook Golf Course in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, late last month, Andrew McInnes, 40, of Derry, New Hampshire, is being sought.

The Break-In at Trull Brook Golf Course

On November 25, at around two in the morning, an alarm was set off at Trull Brook Golf Course, prompting Tewksbury police to respond. When authorities arrived, they found that the pro shop’s glass door was broken and that the inside had been looted.

Several golf ball sleeves and gift cards were among the items taken during the break-in. Police recovered the stolen items throughout their investigation.

Investigation Leads to Suspect s Identification

Police were able to identify the suspect, Andrew McInnes, after a thorough examination of nearby CCTV material. In order to collect evidence and help identify McInnes as the suspect, law enforcement agencies from several locations, including Lowell, Massachusetts; Derry, New Hampshire; and Salem, New Hampshire, collaborated.

Coordinated operations by state and municipal police from New Hampshire and Massachusetts verified his involvement.

Arrest Warrant Issued for McInnes

McInnes has been charged with larceny from a building, deliberate and malicious destruction of property, and breaking and entering a business during the night, and Tewksbury Police have secured an arrest warrant for him. The public is being extensively questioned by authorities, and they are requesting anyone with knowledge regarding McInnes’ whereabouts to come forward. Anonymous tips can be sent in.
