New Jersey’s Pick-6 Hits $16.9 Million After Months of No Winners

TRENTON, NJ — New Jersey Lottery’s Pick-6 jackpot has reached $16.9 million as of Monday, continuing its rise after a series of winning payouts earlier in the year.

The increase comes after two notable jackpots were awarded in May and June, with winners claiming $4.9 million and $3 million, respectively. Since then, no winner has claimed the top prize, leading to a steady climb in the jackpot.

The Pick-6 Lotto, one of New Jersey’s longest-running lottery games, was launched in 1980 and includes a grand prize bonus drawing, which awards additional cash prizes up to $100,000. The largest Pick-6 jackpot to date was $48.9 million, awarded to a ticket holder in Clifton in 2002.

The game was revamped in April 2022 with new features. Now, players have access to the XTRA multiplier, which is automatically included, and the option of Double Play, which offers two consecutive drawings for more opportunities to win additional prizes.

Drawings and winning numbers for all New Jersey Lottery games, including Pick-3, Pick-4, Jersey Cash 5, Pick-6, and CASH4LIFE, are available on the New Jersey Lottery’s website and Facebook page. Powerball and Mega Millions results are broadcast on WABC-TV and WTXF stations.
