New York Election Day Guide: Find Your Polling Place and Voting Info



New York, NY – New Yorkers casting their ballots on Election Day can locate their polling sites through New York’s official voting portal. Confirming your location beforehand can make for a smoother voting experience.

According to the New York State Board of Elections, voters can find their polling place by entering their address on the Find My Poll Site page. Polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. across New York state.

New York generally does not require ID at the polls, but new voters may need to provide identification if they did not do so when registering. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license or recent utility bill.
