New York Weather Alert: Rain Showers Expected Tonight on I-90 in Buffalo Area

According to the National Weather Service, a cold front will move into Western New York tonight, bringing showers after midnight. Rainfall amounts are expected to be light, with less than a tenth of an inch likely in most areas. Drivers should remain cautious, especially along major highways like I-90 and Route 33, where visibility could be reduced.

Monday will bring mostly sunny skies with a high near 55 degrees, creating favorable conditions for outdoor activities. Winds will shift to the west at 8 to 11 mph, adding a slight chill.

Rain chances increase midweek. Showers could develop late Tuesday with heavier rainfall expected Wednesday night into Thursday.
