N.J.’s North Brunswick. Following recent drone activity claims in New Jersey, the North Brunswick Police Department said on Saturday that it is closely collaborating with state and federal law enforcement to look into the sightings.
While assuring locals that there is currently no known threat associated with the drones, Police Chief J. Battaglia stressed the value of public cooperation in identifying the drones’ operators and intended use.
In order to help with the investigation, residents are urged to report drone activity to the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) and, if it is safe to do so, to record video footage of the drones.
Chief Battaglia added that many reported sightings might not be drones but rather misidentified airplanes because North Brunswick is situated along the flight path to Newark International Airport.
