Northeast D.C. Shooter Captured on Camera


Washington, D.C. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting that left one man injured in Northeast D.C.

Around 6:16 p.m. on Friday, October 18, officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. Upon arriving at the scene, police found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound; he was conscious and transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was caught on a nearby surveillance camera, and authorities have released both photos and video footage of the individual as part of their ongoing investigation. Anyone with information on the suspect or the incident is urged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
