NYPD seeks suspect in Williamsburg groping investigation

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—A male is being sought by police in relation to an incident of forceful touching that took place on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

The incident happened at around 7:05 p.m. as a 42-year-old lady was strolling west on Metropolitan Avenue, according to the NYPD. Before running away west toward Grand Street, an unidentified man came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks.

The suspect is described as a man with a thin frame who stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall. The last time we saw him, he was dressed in blue slacks, white sneakers, and a jacket that was black and yellow. The incident did not hurt the victim.
