Ohio man confesses to killing girlfriend, leads police on car chase before death

Ohio’s Springfield Law enforcement sources claim that an Ohio man led police on a car chase after confessing to killing his ex-girlfriend in a 911 call, and then committed suicide.

On the evening of January 1, Stanley Casimir, whose age has not been revealed, contacted 911 and informed the dispatchers, “I just killed my girlfriend, my ex-girlfriend, I just killed her,” according to authorities. His call followed multiple gunshot reports outside a Springfield apartment building, where police eventually discovered a lady dead on the sidewalk from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim’s sister was among the 911 callers, and she informed dispatchers that Casimir had threatened to shoot her sibling after they had recently parted ways. According to reports, Casimir informed 911 that he had been evicted from his girlfriend’s house the previous evening and that he was sitting in the parking lot of a Kroger supermarket with a rifle in his lap.

During the conversation, Casimir reiterated, “I just killed her.” In addition, he declared his intention to commit suicide, saying, “We’re just going to have some fun before I kill myself.” That’s all. He didn’t explain what he meant by “fun” before cutting the call short.

Casimir escaped in his car and started a chase with police when they arrived at the Kroger parking lot. Casimir allegedly committed suicide as the hunt came to an end, while no more information has been made public.
