According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Halloween evening will bring showers across the region, starting as early as late afternoon. As the week progresses, the weather will stabilize. Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 60 degrees, and calmer northwest winds around 7 mph. The weekend will bring cooler temperatures, with Saturday’s high reaching 64 degrees under mostly clear skies. Sunday may see more showers after 2 p.m., as clouds return to the area and temperatures hover around 72 degrees.
