One Dead in Prince George’s County Crash Victim Identified as 38-Year-Old

A 38-year-old man has died following a tragic car crash in Prince George’s County, authorities confirmed late Friday evening.

Despite efforts by emergency personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released to the public, pending notification of next of kin.

Investigators from the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CARU) are looking into the cause of the crash. It remains unclear at this time whether speed, impairment, or weather conditions played a role.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident and are working to determine exactly what led to the crash,” said [insert official’s name if known], a spokesperson for the department.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward as the investigation continues.

On April 23, 2025, at approximately 2:15 pm, officers responded to the 5800 block of Allentown Road for a collision involving two vehicles.

The preliminary investigation revealed Easter was traveling southbound on Allentown Road when, for reasons under investigation, he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a second vehicle. Easter was pronounced deceased on the scene. The second driver was not injured.
