San Joaquin County, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and three others hospitalized Sunday evening, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
Shooting Reported at People’s Market
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:30 p.m. at People’s Market, located in the 2000 block of Country Club Boulevard. Investigators confirmed that four people were shot during the incident.
Officials identified the victims as three adult males and one adult female. One of the male victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
Other Victims Transported to Hospitals
SJCSO said the remaining three victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

The scene remains active as investigators continue to collect evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No information has been released regarding a suspect or possible motive at this time.
