Trenton, New Jersey.After splitting Saturday’s $816,218 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, a Middlesex County lottery player and another Jackpocket app user each took home $408,109, the New Jersey Lottery said Monday.
This year, the reward represents the 31st Jersey Cash 5 jackpot victory. The ShopRite of Spotswood, situated at 380 Summerhill Road, is where the ticket that was bought in Middlesex County was sold. For selling the winning tickets, ShopRite and Jackpocket will each get a $2,000 retailer incentive.
The drawing’s winning numbers were 22, 35, 37, 40, and 42. The Bullseye number was 35, and the XTRA number was 4.
Several other players won substantial prizes in addition to the jackpot. Ten players won $1,500 apiece when they matched four numbers plus the XTRA and the Bullseye. Four more players each won $750 after matching four numbers and the XTRA.
