Pendleton, OregonEastern Oregon continues to experience hazardous winter weather, with freezing rain and heavy fog making driving hazardous through Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service reports that mixed precipitation is anticipated during the duration of the Winter Weather Advisory, which is in effect until noon on Wednesday. Roads and walkways might become treacherous due to up to an inch of snow and ice buildup, especially on bridges and overpasses. Additionally, until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, there is an ADense Fog Advisory in effect, with visibility in some places decreasing to a quarter mile.
Drivers should use headlights, reduce their speed, and give other cars more room. Stairs and sidewalks may be ice, therefore pedestrians should exercise caution when using them.
