Orland Park, IL – The Village of Orland Park will hold a Veterans Day ceremony on November 11 at 11 a.m. at the Orland Park Civic Center, located at 14750 S. Ravinia Ave. Community members are invited to honor the sacrifices of veterans who served the country. For those unable to attend, the event will be live-streamed on the Village’s YouTube channel.
Following the ceremony, a dedication for the new Orland Park Veterans Center will take place at 1:30 p.m. at 14671 West Ave. The center will serve as a hub for veterans, hosting meetings for groups such as the American Legion Post 111, VFW Orland-Palos Post 2604, Veterans Voices, and Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The Orland Park Veterans Commission will also meet at the center.
The events provide an opportunity for the community to express gratitude and support for local veterans. The new center aims to strengthen connections among veterans and provide a dedicated space for community service and camaraderie.
