Several individuals have been apprehended and face charges following a significant drug seizure at a residence in Vance County.
Authorities from the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Henderson Police Department and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, conducted a search at a residence on Avery Lane on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
During the search, deputies discovered a significant amount of drugs and firearms. According to deputies, there were a significant number of young individuals present at the residence during the search.
The deputies made a discovery of the following items:
- 4,870 “bindles” of heroin.
- 1,154 grams of cocaine.
- More than a kilogram of crack cocaine.
- more than 20 pounds of marijuana.
- Five guns.
- More than $30,000 in U.S. currency.
Four individuals, Maurice Kearney, Andrea Swain, Michael Gill, and Tiffanie Moore, were apprehended by the police and are now facing charges for various offenses.

The arrested individuals are:
- Maurice Kearney
- Andrea Swain
- Michael Gill
- Tiffanie Moore
Law enforcement officers apprehended all four individuals and subsequently transported to a detention facility. Authorities reported that there were no injuries during the search, and they anticipate additional arrests as the investigation progresses.
