Park Forest Police Break Up Massive Gathering with Hundreds of Teens



Park Forest, IL — Park Forest police dispersed a large, unauthorized gathering of hundreds of teenagers on Thursday night. Officers responded around 10 p.m. to the 400 block of Shabbona Drive after reports of a major party drawing significant crowds and traffic disruptions.

According to Park Forest Police, vehicles were parked illegally, blocking streets, and juveniles were seen trespassing on nearby properties. Officers quickly acted to disperse the crowd and requested backup from surrounding law enforcement agencies to control the area.

The scene required a heavy police presence for about two hours. Authorities managed to restore order without any injuries or reported crimes. Police are continuing their investigation and stated that any necessary enforcement actions will follow.

The Park Forest Police Department extended gratitude to neighboring law enforcement agencies for their assistance in maintaining public safety during the incident.
