Philadelphia medic stabbed in North Philly, suspect in custody


PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A male medic is in critical but stable condition after being stabbed early Thursday morning in the city’s 22nd District, police said. The incident occurred at approximately 6:28 a.m. at the intersection of North 22nd Street and Diamond Street.

The victim sustained stab wounds to his chest and hand and was transported to Temple University Hospital by Medic 25. Authorities confirmed that a suspect is in custody, and the Central Detective Division is leading the ongoing investigation.
