Philadelphia player wins $1 million on scratch-off ticket

The city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Officials reported that a fortunate Pennsylvania Lottery player who bought a $1,000,000 Winnings Scratch-Off ticket in Philadelphia has won $1 million.

ShopRite of Parkside, situated at 1575 North 52nd Street, sold the winning ticket. Selling the top-prize ticket will therefore earn the merchant a $5,000 bonus.

The $1,000,000 Prize Players can win up to $1 million by playing the $20 game Scratch-Off. In order to claim their win, players are reminded by the Pennsylvania Lottery must sign the back of their ticket right away and call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481.

One year after the game’s end-sale date, which is announced on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website, Scratch-Off wins expire. Withholdings for applicable taxes apply to all awards over $5,000.
