Philadelphia Police Manhunt for Suspect Wanted for Multiple Armed Robberies


The city of Philadelphia A man who is accused of carrying out three days of armed robberies at businesses in the 18th and 19th Police Districts last week is being sought by authorities. The trend, which included three different events, is being looked into by the Southwest Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department.

The Haverford Mini Market, which is situated at 5450 Haverford Avenue, was the scene of the first heist on October 7. The suspect was seen pacing outside the business before entering at approximately 1:25 p.m., according to surveillance footage. Once inside, he demanded money from a female cashier while brandishing a weapon. The guy ran north on 55th Street toward Westminster after the clerk gave him $300 from the register. There were no reported injuries.

At 4823 Chester Avenue, a second robbery was reported the next day. The guy approached the store’s cashier at 12:54 p.m., displayed a gun, and demanded money. Before the suspect left the area, the employee gave over an undisclosed sum of money.

At around 10:52 a.m. on October 9, police were called to the Vine Deli and Grocery, located at 262 N. Simpson Street, for a third robbery. After buying cigars at first, the suspect pulled out a revolver and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect fled the scene after being disarmed by the cashier and another staff member during a scuffle. The recovered firearm was determined to be a modified black Pietro Beretta BB gun with an electrical tape-wrapped extended magazine.

According to the description, the suspect is a 6′ 3″ Black man with a slim build who is between 60 and 65 years old, with gray hair and a gray beard. He is regarded as dangerous and was armed during each encounter.


Authorities advise anyone who spots the suspect to stay away and call 911 right away.
