Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Two individuals are being sought by police in connection with an attempted robbery in the city’s 9th District on December 20, 2024, that harmed a lady.
Two unidentified individuals approached the victim, who was riding an electric scooter, at around 2:35 p.m. on the 1400 block of W. Girard Avenue. According to authorities, one suspect seized the scooter while the other attempted to forcefully remove her hands from the handlebars.
While resisting and holding on to the scooter, the victim stumbled down a flight of front stairs. Investigators said the individuals did not take the scooter and fled north on 15th Street.
As they attempt to identify the people involved, Central Detectives have released CCTV footage showing the suspects, who are described as two Black males.
As the investigation goes on, police are asking anyone who knows anything about the suspects to come forward.
