PHILADELPHIA, PA
— A Fast Play lottery ticket worth $282,608 was sold Tuesday at a Philadelphia gas station, scoring the progressive top prize for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Golden Vault game.
The winning $10 ticket was sold at the Shell station located at 4268 Ridge Avenue. As a result, the retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket that hit the growing jackpot.
Golden Vault is a Fast Play game where prizes are awarded instantly. Unlike traditional Scratch-Offs or draw games, Fast Play tickets print on demand and reveal winnings immediately. The progressive top prize starts at $175,000 and increases with every ticket sold until a win resets the jackpot.
The ticket must be validated before the winner can be officially confirmed. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Lottery directly for prize claims over $5,000, which are subject to applicable withholding.
Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase date. All Fast Play tickets can be scanned at Lottery retailers or checked using the Lottery’s mobile app.
Instant win game delivers six-figure payday in city
The Golden Vault win marks one of the largest Fast Play payouts in recent weeks across Pennsylvania. Fast Play games are available at retail counters and self-service machines, offering convenience and instant results.
As with other Fast Play options, the progressive prize immediately resets after a jackpot hit and begins growing again with each ticket sold statewide.
Lottery officials have not released the identity of the ticket holder, who will remain anonymous until the prize is officially claimed and verified.
