Police investigate armed robbery near ATM in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD Authorities are looking into an armed robbery that happened late Friday morning in Glen Burnie. Shortly after taking out cash from an ATM, a man was robbed and held at gunpoint.

At around 11:44 a.m. on November 29, officers arrived at the 200 block of 6th Avenue Northeast and met with the victim, who was 48 years old. Police said the victim was accosted by a suspect who demanded money while brandishing a black revolver. The perpetrator departed in an older gray Honda Civic with unidentified Virginia license plates after the victim complied.

According to the description, the suspect was a Black man with a black revolver and a cross-body bag.

The inquiry is being conducted by detectives from the Northern District of the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
