After resort employees reported the incident, officers arrived at 2201 S Ocean Boulevard at around 8:24 a.m. Although the precise time of the discharge is unknown, police claim it happened earlier.
Authorities detained two people for interrogation and retrieved evidence from the area during their investigation. The area is now secure, according to law enforcement officials.
