Police Respond to Late Night Incident in Boston

Boston, Massachusetts On Friday, police officers from the Auto Theft Unit arrived to a scene of late-night partygoers in many Boston neighborhoods. They saw about 80 cars congregated near 485 Canterbury Street when they received a report about an officer in trouble.

Officers used body-worn cameras to record car registrations and deal with auto law infractions as guests started to depart. All of the vehicles at the scene received motor vehicle citations as a result of their activities.

Following further inquiries, the registered owners of the vehicles received 78 citations for No Stopping/No Standing infractions. The goal of the current inquiry is to keep up enforcement and stop similar incidents.

In response to the Officer in Trouble complaint, officers from District B-3 and District E-13 arrived on the site at around 11:20 PM that night. Three people were taken into custody: Geraldo Colon, 21, Mario Florian, 19, and Alan Ridenour, 19. Officers also found two stolen cars connected to the crime and two guns.
