Police say Toms River man had crack and heroin during traffic stop in Wall




New Jersey’s Wall Township.Police reported that heroin, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia were found during a traffic stop on State Highway 138 on Monday, which resulted in the arrest of a man from Toms River.

On December 2, 2024, Wall Township Police Department Detective Ty Hughes pulled over the car and found the driver to be Todd Taggart, 46. Officers discovered prohibited drugs and drug paraphernalia in Taggart’s possession during the stop.

After being taken into custody and processed, Taggart was released with a court appearance summons.

The circumstances surrounding the stop have not been further elaborated by the Wall Township Police Department.
