Police search for D.C. teen who vanished earlier this week

Washington, D.C. Daja Edwards, 17, was last seen in the 1400 block of Independence Avenue in Southeast D.C. on Sunday, November 19, at 11 a.m. Her family is now looking for assistance in finding her.

Daja is described as a 5′ 8″ Black woman with a dark complexion, brown and red hair, and brown eyes. She weighs 170 pounds. She was last spotted sporting black Crocs, a blue jacket, and gray sweatpants.

The search for her is still going on, and the missing person report was submitted on November 20.

Police encourage anyone with knowledge regarding Daja Edwards’ whereabouts to call them at 202-727-9099 or text 50411 with an anonymous tip.
