QUEENS, N.Y. — A 52-year-old Uber driver was assaulted and carjacked late Thursday night in front of 241-27 86th Avenue, according to police reports. The incident occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m.

An unidentified individual entered the driver’s vehicle and repeatedly punched him in the face and body before biting him on the back and pushing him out of the car, police said. The suspect then fled in the victim’s vehicle, driving westbound on 86th Avenue.

The stolen vehicle collided with several parked cars and a tree before the suspect abandoned it and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The Uber driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a female with a medium complexion, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are seeking any information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts.
