Police seek stolen vehicle linked to Mt. Oliver drive-by shooting




Allegheny County Police are looking for a white 2009 Mazda CX9 that was involved in a drive-by shooting near Mount Oliver on the evening of December 7.

Before the incident, the car, registered in Pennsylvania under the license plate MFX-5807, was reported stolen from Scott Township. According to authorities, it was last spotted at 9:30 p.m. close to the area of the event.

No more information on the gunshot or whether any injuries were reported has been made public by investigators. Police are asking anybody who sees the car to phone 911 and to report any information they may have about the case by calling the department’s tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.

As authorities search for the stolen car and the identity of the shooters, the inquiry is still ongoing.
