Begin your day with a quiet prayer, asking God to lead you throughout the day in humility, love, and purpose.
Winona, MinnesotaGreetings, friend! As you begin your day, keep in mind that humility is the path to great strength. God wants us to serve others with humility, even though life can occasionally urge us to prioritize ourselves. Being humble means believing that God’s plan is bigger than ours, not that we should think less of ourselves.
We welcome God’s serenity and purpose into our lives when we cultivate humility. We may grow through hardships, face difficulties with grace, and view others the way God does when we have a humble spirit. Although it’s not always simple, prayer helps us get closer to the One who has the power to change us.
Let’s beg God to help us live humbly today. Let’s put our pride aside, concentrate on His goodness, and have faith in His wisdom. When we approach Him in humility, He is dependable in raising us up.
Prayer for Developing Humility
Thank you for this new day, Heavenly Father. We pray for Your presence to lead us as we awaken and confront whatever is ahead. Lord, please help us cultivate humility. Teach us to serve others with love and compassion and to let go of our pride.
We are aware that being humble draws us nearer to You. Give us the courage to believe that You have a plan for our life and to walk in faith. Throughout the day, provide us insight, peace, and protection. Please enable us to show Your grace in all that we do.
Father, we are grateful for your unwavering love. As we go forth today, may we be a beacon of love, patience, and humility to everyone around us. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
This morning, my wife, Kitty, is here to share some scripture with you.
