New York’s Bronx. A Queens man was arrested on several charges after a 38-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in the Bronx early Friday morning, according to police.
In the 44th Precinct, officers responded to a 911 call at around 3:31 a.m. regarding an assault that was taking place at 1479 Macombs Road. Authorities said they discovered Britney Webb with numerous stab wounds to her back and torso.
Webb was taken by emergency medical personnel to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was declared deceased. According to authorities, a second victim, a 46-year-old guy, was privately taken to the same hospital after suffering a stab wound to his left leg. He is currently listed in stable condition.
Lamont Wilson, 46, of Queens, was taken into custody by police later that night in relation to the incident. First-degree manslaughter, fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of attempted murder, second-degree murder, and endangering the welfare of a child are among the charges against him.
According to authorities, the circumstances surrounding the stabbing are still being investigated.
