Randallstown liquor store sells record $2.9 Million FAST PLAY ticket

RANDALLSTOWN, Md. — A Maryland Lottery player in Randallstown has become a multimillionaire after purchasing a record-setting $2,948,743 FAST PLAY VIP Club ticket.

The historic win was announced after the progressive jackpot hit its highest-ever amount, surpassing the previous record of $2,620,246 set in October 2021 with the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game.

The winning ticket was sold at J&S Liquors, located at 10000 Liberty Road in Baltimore County. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the record-breaking ticket. The VIP Club game, which launched in July 2023, closed immediately after the jackpot was hit.

Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a secure location. The winner has 182 days from the date of the win to claim the prize, which must be done through Lottery headquarters for amounts over $25,000.

The Randallstown win adds another milestone to Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY history.
