Last fiscal year, Henrico County alone received nearly $37 million in Lottery monies, which are used to support K–12 education throughout the state of Virginia. Over $934 million, or almost 10% of the state’s education budget, came from the Lottery in Fiscal Year 2024 for K–12 education.
