Rockville man arrested for armed robberies at two 7-Eleven stores

Gathersburg, Maryland.Police in Montgomery County said Friday that they had arrested and charged a guy from Rockville in relation to two armed robberies at 7-Eleven locations.

The 36-year-old Christopher Huser was named as the suspect in the November 26 and November 28, 2024, robberies. Huser is accused of entering the stores, brandishing a gun, and stealing money and goods in both cases.

Two days later, a 7-Eleven in the 13200 block of Atlantic Avenue was the scene of the second heist, which had started at a 7-Eleven in the 3500 block of University Boulevard. During their investigation, authorities discovered parallels between the two crimes.

Huser was apprehended without incident on January 8, 2025, on the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road after being recognized as the culprit by detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division.

Huser is being held at the Central Processing Unit in Montgomery County without bond.

A string of armed robberies that worried local businesses and people had come to an end with the arrest.
