Salisbury shed fire causes $10,000 in damages, no injuries reported




SALISBURY, M.D. According to officials, a 9-by-20-foot wood-framed shed on Salisbury’s Church Street was destroyed by fire on Sunday afternoon, resulting in an estimated $10,000 in losses.

Around 4:34 p.m., the Salisbury Fire Department arrived on the scene of the fire at 810 Church Street. Within ten minutes after twenty firefighters arrived on the scene, the fire was contained. Officials said there were no reported injuries.

A. Wikoff owned the shed, but it lacked sprinklers, fire alarms, and smoke alarms. A neighbor found the fire, and it has been established that the shed is where it started.
