San Francisco, CA As San Francisco gets ready for a warmer trend this weekend, a respite from recent showers is imminent. Residents will get a taste of spring after a soggy start to the week as sunlight and moderate temperatures take over.
The National Weather Service predicts that Thursday will be sunny with a high of 62 degrees Fahrenheit and moderate northwest winds of 3 to 8 miles per hour. With largely clear sky, overnight temps will drop to about 46 F. With largely bright weather, Friday’s temperature reached 64 F, continuing the warming trend.
With bright skies and highs of 65 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday, the weather will be ideal for outdoor activities. Late Saturday night, patchy fog may form, but Sunday is predicted to be largely sunny with highs in the upper 60s.
This change in weather occurs as an arctic front passes, making room for milder weather to arrive. Through the beginning of next week, Bay Area residents may anticipate dry and nice weather.
As springlike temps arrive early, prepare for cold mornings but take advantage of the sunshine. For any changes, keep abreast of local forecasts.
