Shooting leaves 25-year-old man dead in DC




Washington, DC The most recent instance of gun violence in the Southeast occurred Thursday night when a 25-year-old man was shot and killed on Wade Road.

Seventh District officers responded to reports of shooting in the 2000 block of Wade Road at approximately 5:16 p.m. When they arrived, they found Mark Odom with what seemed to be a gunshot wound. After attempts to save his life failed, emergency personnel took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

According to the authorities, the victim, Mark Odom, had no fixed residence.
