Smash and dash as Thieves hit two D.C. businesses in early-morning burglary spree


WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for suspects involved in two early-morning burglaries at businesses in Northwest Washington, D.C., after security cameras captured images of the suspects and their vehicle, authorities announced Tuesday.

The incidents occurred on Tuesday, November 12, around 3:40 a.m., when First District officers responded to a business alarm on the unit block of H Street NW. Officers arriving at the scene found that suspects had forced entry into a business and stolen property.

During their initial investigation, officers discovered that a second business on the same block had also been burglarized, allegedly by the same suspects. Police said the suspects fled in a white sedan before officers arrived.


Images of the suspects and their vehicle were captured by surveillance cameras, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved.
