SHAKE IT OFF: Swift will be served by frontwoman Shannon, who will be supported by a four-piece band. (Photo supplied)
On Saturday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m., the Stafford Township Arts Center will present Taylor Swift’s Story, a tribute show.
The price range for tickets is $38.25 to $59.25. You can buy them online at stacnj.com.
A STAC advertising blurb states, “Shannon’s performance transcends simple mimicry, with a passion for storytelling and a voice that echoes the emotion and authenticity of Taylor’s music.” The magic of a Taylor Swift concert, replete with the fervor, charm, and flair that have made Taylor a worldwide sensation, will be experienced by spectators thanks to the artist’s commitment and meticulous attention to detail.
A four-piece band will provide backing for Shannon, who might also have two or four dancers. The concert seems to have a chronological pattern similar to that of the Eras Tour, documenting Swift’s rise to fame as a country singer and then tracking her career through significant stylistic shifts.
Every one of the several Taylor Swift tribute bands out there claims to be the greatest. But given that a VIP meet and greet is planned for after the event, this tribute act might have the most audacity. A 2-by-6 photo with the performers and the chance to meet them are available to those who pay an extra $25.
According to the announcement, this is your opportunity to make a memory you won’t soon forget.R.M.
