Md. PASADENA.According to Anne Arundel County police, a police pursuit that resulted in one arrest and two suspects still at large followed the early Monday morning break-in at seven Pasadena businesses.
Officers were called to a business burglary at Kings Cleaners on Jumpers Hole Road at around 1:30 a.m. on December 9. Investigators quickly learned that four additional local shops, including Beauty Nails and Pizza Hut, had also been targeted.
Officers later observed a black Dodge Charger with black wheels in Glen Burnie, which was identified as a suspect vehicle on surveillance footage from the Pasadena Crossroads Shopping Center. The driver fled after police tried to stop him, starting a chase down I-97, MD 100, and Route 295 before the car broke down close to Powder Mill Road in Prince George’s County.
Officers arrested one suspect, identified as 26-year-old Kendall Demarius Walton of Washington, D.C., while the other three escaped on foot. The car and its license plate had been reported stolen, and police found a stolen.45 caliber Glock handgun at the site. Walton is charged with burglary spree, firearm possession, and stolen items, despite being forbidden from owning firearms.
The two other suspects, who are described as males between the ages of 20 and 25, are still at large. Anyone with information is asked to call Eastern District detectives at 410-222-6145 or use the department’s tip line, according to the police.
Police are still looking for two accomplices after a high-speed chase from Pasadena to Prince George’s County links one suspect to other thefts.
